மதுரை தமிழ் இலக்கிய மின்பதிப்புத் திட்டம்

இது ஒரு உலகளாவிய தமிழர்கள் இணையம்வழி ஒன்றுகூடி தமிழ் இலக்கியங்களின் மின்பதிப்புக்களை உருவாக்கி அவற்றை இணையம்வழி உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள தமிழர்களும் தமிழார்வலர்களும் இலவசமாக பெற வசதிசெய்யும் திட்டம்.

1998-ம் ஆண்டு தமிழர் திருநாள் (பொங்கல்) அன்று ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்ட மதுரைத் திட்டம் இன்றும் தொடர்ந்து இயங்கி வருகிறது. உலகில் வெவ்வேறு நாடுகளில் வசிக்கும் தமிழர்களும் தமிழார்வலர்களும் ஒன்றுகூடி இத்திட்டத்தை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர். இத்திட்டம் எந்தவித அரசாங்க அல்லது தனியார் நிறுவன உதவியின்றியும், எந்தவித வியாபார நோக்கமுமின்றியும் நடைபெற்று வருகின்ற ஒரு தன்னார்வ (voluntary) முயற்சியாகும்.

Project Madurai

Project Madurai is an open and voluntary initiative to collect and publish free electronic editions of ancient tamil literary classics. The project was started on January 14, 1998 and has been ongoing due to the active contribution of volunteers from all over the world.

The entire collection of works in Project Madurai ('etexts') are available in various formats for everyone to use. All etexts are distributed in both HTML and PDF formats. Anyone can read or download a copy of the published works, free of charge for personal use.
